1. About TheTripDate

TheTripDate is a travel and date planning tool available at thetripdate.com. The service uses artificial intelligence to generate suggested itineraries based on your inputs.

2. Use of the service

You may use TheTripDate for personal, non-commercial trip and date planning. You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to disrupt or harm the service or its infrastructure
Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the service
Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity

3. AI-generated content

Itineraries, date plans, cost estimates and activity suggestions are generated by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. TheTripDate makes no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content.

In particular:

Cost estimates are approximate and may not reflect actual prices at the time of travel. Always verify costs independently before booking.
Driving cost estimates are estimates based on approximate fuel consumption and average fuel prices. Actual costs will vary based on your vehicle, driving style and current fuel prices.
Activity suggestions may not reflect current opening hours, availability or pricing. Always check directly with the venue before visiting.
Route suggestions are indicative only. Always use a dedicated navigation app when driving.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

TheTripDate is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheTripDate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on AI-generated itineraries, missed bookings or travel disruptions.

6. Intellectual property

The TheTripDate name, logo and website design are owned by TheTripDate. You retain ownership of any trip content you create using the service.

7. Third-party services

TheTripDate integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (AI) and Vercel (hosting). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We may also update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
